Project management
We have been working in the background on many of the LGSF projects you see today in the UK. Through our vast and varied array of knowledge of working with many of the Leading cold rolled manufacturers in the UK, we feel that we are best placed to advise Developers, Main Contractors and Sub Contractors on the best use of 'Offsite Construction' and best practices of 'Modern Methods of Construction'.

five key stages of involvement
-
Based on Architectural details we would provide a marked up indicative design of the project. This would indicatively show all the structural elements that would be used for the structure in terms of the loadbearing walls, supporting beams, column locations along with the floor and roof span directions.
-
Once the indicative design is accepted, we would produce an engineered scheme stating the 'Line & Point loads' followed by a complete mark up of the required specifications. All the supporting members and any additional elements of the structure such as balconies and Brick support areas would be highlighted.
-
The detailing team would work in unison with the engineered design to create a complete 3D Tekla model using in-house tools to frame all the LGSF internal walls, external walls, floor structure and roof structure if required. From this model we would create 2D general arrangement drawings for Approval along with a BIM model for coordination.
-
When all comments have been incorporated from the Design Team, the Construction drawings would be issued for sign off. Once confirmed, the manufacturing information is created inclusive of panel assembly drawings, fabrication information, NC data and all material lists.
-
Depending on our initial engagement with the customer, we may have responsibility of supplying and installing the LGSF product. The detailing team would supply Marking plans and site details for installation, our installation team would discuss site logistics and coordination of deliveries etc.
